Urgent need for new councillors
The Parish Council has an ongoing urgent need for a further two new councillors to serve the parish residents and to work with and support the existing five councillors in ensuring that the various responsibilities and challenges that the council faces from time to time can be properly addressed.
The council is keen to secure the service and assistance of anyone who may have a particular skill, experience, of general interest in the environment, climate, and nature.
Equally the council would welcome anyone who may be able to assist with any of the following councillor duties and responsibilities:
Planning Advisory Group – Design Statement Advisory Group – Internal Control Monitoring – Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group – Police Liaison – Footpaths – Villag Hall/Playing Field – Community Speed Watch Group – Asset Mapping Group – Community Group.
The Council Meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 7.30pm at the village hall.
