- Where you would obstruct cyclists’ use of cycle facilities except when forced to do so by stationary traffic
- Where a kerb has been lowered to help wheelchair users and powered mobility vehicles
- On a bend
- Near the brow of a hill or hump back bridge
- Opposite a traffic island or (if this would case an obstruction another parked vehicle)
- Stopping in the middle of the road to drop off your child
- Anywhere you would prevent access for emergency services
- Near a school or property entrance or within 10 metres of a junction
- On yellow lines or zigzags
