Village Hopper – Keeping the villages connected 

A community, not for-profit, 16-seater minibus service. Serving the villages of Grendon, Castle Ashby, Whiston, Cogenhoe, Brafield, Little Houghton & Great Houghton. Operated by Cogenhoe & Whiston Parish Council and jointly funded by the parishes. The bus currently picks up passengers at The White hart and will on request pick up and drop off further up the village at The Green.  For further information click the update link below. The current Route being:  Stanwick Lake to Northampton via Rushden Lakes, Wellingborough, Bozeat and Cogenhoe

Bedford Bus (Route 41)

Daily returns Bedford Northampton including Biddenham. Bromley and Olney, are now being operated by Grant Palmer. The bus picks up from stops at the bottom of the village High Street on either side of the A428 Bedford Road depending on direction of travel an run normally every 2 hours during peak times. Grant Palmer established the business in 1999.  As managing director he oversees the strategic development and operational performance of the business, ensuring we run a safe and dependable bus service for our customers.To this day, it’s a locally owned and family run business, putting the needs of local people, our customers, first.Our team of 50 drivers are at the heart of our business, ensuring we deliver the best standard of customer care and reliability we can. 

Northampton Volunteer Car Scheme

A unique project in Northampton where volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to support elderly & disabled residents, ensuring they are able to make medical and well-being appointments. The scheme is fee-based membership. For further details click the link below:
